- Simmi has over 20 years experience in the field of education, training and consultancy. She has a brilliant academic record and is a Delhi University topper and rank holder, having completed her graduation from St Stephen’s College, Delhi and her Masters from the Delhi School of Economics.
- She is one of the first in India to have qualified the University Grants Commission net examination, and has taught as lecturer in Delhi University. As part of her lectureship, she has delivered, measured and maintained standards in training and education as per UGC specifications.
- Simmi has gained extensive experience in Germany working at Splash Ledermoden GmbH, Dusseldorf on Corporate training programs for International trade in APAC and Customer training in Sustainability Innovations. She has worked in Hong Kong with HKCAC training consultancy, where she collaborated closely with their Princeton Center, and was responsible for designing and program managing a major IT skills training and educational initiative at the Hong Kong English Schools Foundation.
- On her return to India, she ventured into entrepreneurship and consulting engagements first in the field of energy efficiency and green initiatives, and then in the field of Risk and Privacy in the corporate sector through a unique program named ‘Bridge the Gap’. She is a Certified Risk Manager and Certified Privacy Professional. She is also a qualified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and ISO 22301 Business Continuity Lead Implementer and has led many business engagements in the domain of cyber security – airtel, Comviva, Avaya ,Wipro, Ison ATS, InterGlobe Enterprise have been some of the clients.
- She is the founder of ‘UnHack’, a pan-India schools program to raise awareness and empower students, educators and parents to harness the opportunities provided by digital learning; to inculcate digital ethics and stay safe online.
